Time for another Saturday Night Mods night. Here the details:

Old Wreckfest texture files   -   texture files needed for some the tracks

The Very TrackPack  -  needed for Nevada Depot Figure 8 and Warehouse Derby

Trackfest  -  fig 8 tracks with props :)

Figure 8 Track Pack - P44   -   some rough and tumble fig 8 tracks

Resets:  OFF - This is fig 8 racing!!! ( except new Mixed 5 A to B track )


Should buy the cars you need before joining server, since we can't swap parts online or buy cars. Do you bring a tough, beefy car or a nimble car to win a fig8 race?  Maybe a Muddigger for offroad on Mixed 5 A to B.


Event could go 2-3 hours or maybe longer. Who knows!

Note:
Also, be warned that tracks that have a 2 way round about ( Mud Fig8, Nevada Depot Fig8 and Derby8 Ramp Jump ) will now trigger a red circle if go opposite side of AI.



Bugbear decide to get rid of the loop checkpoint that let a player cross checkpoint in either direction. To fix this, I will have to someday make alt routes for these  2 way round abouts.  :(

You can still take either route around the round abouts, if trigger red circle, keep going. Red circle will disappear and lap will still count.

GRID Oval 2 Figure 8 - This track base on the GRID 1 derby figure 8 track, think jump ramps. :)
Mud Pit Figure 8 - Figure 8 track uses the Mud arena.
Gravel Figure 8 - Figure 8 track using the inside of the Gravel track, think off-road.
Nevada Depot Figure 8 - Figure 8 track using End's Nevada Depot track, watch out for them trains!
Warehouse Derby - Derby in the Nevada Depot warehouse.
Oval 1 long Figure 8 - Figure 8 track using the Speedway 1 oval track.
Figure 8 Derby Ramps - Figure 8 track using the big derby ramps.
Figure 8 Derby Ramp Jump - Figure 8 track jumping between 2 derby ramps.
Tarmac Figure 8 - Figure 8 track using the old Tarmac 1 track.

I uploaded a new update to Figure 8 Track Pack - P44 tonight.


Go get some practice on the new tracks:

My fig8 mod now ready for Saturday event. Sorry guys, did not have time do a WIP video of new track, so just have go practice new track and the other 3 nee tracks on your own Saturday afternoon.  :P

Just uploaded a new update to Figure 8 Track Pack - P44 tonight. Added Speedway 2 Loop Fig8 track. This uses the stock Speedway 2 Loop track, but had delete the alt routes use to go around the loop islands, because AI got confuse when I tweak the AI race line for the fig8 part. So now will need to turn into the loop and then go around loop for lap to count. Sorry guys.








But if you a wrecker like me on suicide tracks, then getting then red circle not a problem if my lap don't count. Tip: if do the loop twice in "wrong direction, red circle will go away and lap count.

Be sure to pick out the cars you want to be using and check and see if there any custom skin you like to use before joining server. Lots of custom skins to pick from :) Wanted to add some more skins, but it cherry season in eastern Washington now, I'm too busy right now and sore.

Unfortunately not so good with the Mixed 5 - A to B track. Server crash twice when a player reach the end and hit a bumper. :(

Here a heads up, next Saturday Night Mods night will be Sat, July 14. With End's Very TrackPack.

I was planning on doing GoKart Plus, but with final release of Wreckfest, I been to busy reading forums, doing career mode and working to fine time to update my GoKart Raceway Plus track mod. I want to add a new gokart track:



So moving hosting GoKart Plus track mod to Sat, Aug 11. I hope have new track ready by then.

And come Sat, Sept 8 I hope have my Cops and Robbers mod updated now final version release is out. Hopefully Petri will have that new gas bottle rocket working next month so I can use it here:   :D

Something came up, jquitwho will be unable to put up a server Saturday.

I was able to contact Swan and he said he could put up a host. So we still good for Saturday Night Mods night tomorrow. :)

GoKart Raceway Plus

Be sure to get some practice with Sam's gokart when it get release. Hopefully by at least Friday. Gokart still being tweaked.  :P

About the gokart, in my testing of kart, will need use the brake to make sharp turns or you going to end up going wide. Also I use a wheel with no assists, I needed to tweak my Advanced Controller settings:



I used 70% FF, had to drop FF to 65% to stop wheel from shaking to much. Gokart steering very touchy, so I lower Steering Sensitivity from 30 to -40 to slow down my steering.

I plan do to a lot of racing with Sam gokart. Added 2 new gokart tracks to Gokart Raceway Plus mod and kart good for racing on the Gravel track.  :D





Be sure to checkout the custom skins from Zeb, Vin Petrol, Asido and bill1974!  That are in the GoKart mod.  :D



I went looking for some custom skins for some the new cars we got and I got permission to add my picks to the GoKart mod.  Big thanks Asido and bill1947!  :D  Here some pics.
