Before when there was a tactical element to the derbies, e.g. when engine sector whent black = wrecked. Now when it does not care so much for sectors due to health bar - why are the AI's still reversing? Unless I am missing something I don't see the need for them to reverse when it does not change the outcome? This makes the derbies a bit slow when the AI's are reversing.
If I have misunderstood something about sectors, healthbars and such, please enlighten me and sorry for confusion :)

The more the sector has taken damage, the more you loose health on impact when the sector is hit.

But is that as effective as before? To me it seems that most hits deal similar damage regardless of where you are hit or health of sector.

Yeah I agree. I really hope they add the older system back, in some way/shape/form. I want tires to buckle and dislodge more easily too.
