Hello!
First of all, I think this is absolutely unreal. As far as I know, you cannot put any car into reverse until it has the slightest movement in forward direction. And it is very frustrating in the game, if you shift down, and suddenly you find out you're in reverse. So please don't let us put the car into reverse until the car stops, and for fun, even add a grinding noise when someone tries it!
Thanks!
Gabor

Forcing the car to be at a complete standstill would make getting on the reverse very slow but a speed threshold could work.

You can put a car into reverse while moving forward if it has an automatic transmission.

With a manual transmission you have to push the clutch in and then lock up the brakes to stop the driveshaft from turning and then you can put it into reverse while the car is sliding forward.

This is not the issue with the game. I just want to shift down before corners, but sometimes I find the car in R. Usually that is when I drive a car with 4 gears after one which has 6.
