Howdy friends,

Another week of mad bug fixing and polishing is behind us, and that can only mean one thing – the latest update is out! In addition to all sorts of neatness we also have a small surprise for you, so read on.

The summer is in full bloom here in the northern hemisphere, and to celebrate it as well as the release of the game we're about to take a short break, but before doing so, we’ve been working on to address the most critical issues we're aware of and to improve the game based on the feedback we've received on our community forums and Discord.

The absolute best news is that the update contains a number of fixes to various hard crashes and other showstopper nasties that a number of you have been experiencing. With those pesky issues now out of the way, we expect that finally everyone can enjoy the game in its full glory. In addition to that, the update also contains a number of fixes to more minor issues as well as a host of nice improvements and tweaks; for instance, there's a refreshed lobby interface, AI aggression tweaks, more consistent mechanical damage across all cars, wheels that get detached easier when using realistic damage, and so forth. You can read the full changelog below but instead of that we suggest updating the game and checking it out yourself!

Now then, no doubt the most exciting piece of news to everyone – like mentioned we're going to take a short summer break, and as a token of our appreciation for the great community (yes, you lot) we have a special surprise for you: a new track! Yes, you read that right. The track is ominously enough called Bonebreaker Valley and true to its name, it's really like an evil big brother of Crash Canyon complete with banked corners, high-speed two-way section and multiple jumps, ensuring frantic races and brutal crashes – the kind of full-contact racing we've all come to love and expect. Enjoy!

That's all for now, folks. Thanks for all the support and godspeed everyone!

That's a fun track. Had a few online races just now. Already managed to land on someone while driving a muddigger. There wasn't much left of them.

It's a spectacular event to be a part of, well thought up devs.

Thanks for the updates and enjoy your break.

That new track....Now that's what I'm talking about.  :D

Just a friendly reminder that the lap times display is still only two last digits...  01:01:12    would like to get the three last digits back. 01:01:123.  pleeeeease.

Also in older HUD versions we were able to see the distance to the cars in meters. Can you please bring that back, too? It would also be helpfull for BONUS TARGETS like "Win by at least 50 meters".

can we get meters back in HUD?

Have a nice vacation.

If more HUD elements are added, I wish there would be more HUD adjustment toggles, than just general on/off. I prefer the HUD to be minimalistic (for immersions sake), would kind of want to turn off some if already, but some of it is essential to know. For example, health bars (and damage info like "-7") could be separate toggle from driver names. Also keybinds to turn HUD on/off and driver names on/off would be nice

If you like to turn off the HP bars instead of needing to turn off the names St. Jimmy made a mod that also works online!

But I agree this should be an option in-game.

Yep I'm actually using the mod already. It still displays the -7 -3 -1 damage info, when hitting other cars which I'd like to get rid of too. And yep, imo would be nice to have this officially. Perhaps as even server-side forced "no health bars" setting, that server admins can use if they so prefer. Would fit the servers who try to offer more "realistic" racing experience with realistic damage, no resets etc. Also this is getting wildly off topic, but also settings to force 1st person and assists off (for admins) would be cool.

Anyway, great update and great new track.
