Zeb sent me this link today:  Forza Horizon 4 Turns Your World Into an Off-Road, Airborne Car Party

Release date Oct 2.

Video show some dirt bikes, but player does not get to buy any dirt bikes.  :(

While motorbikes were actually featured in the reveal of Forza Horizon 4 on the Microsoft stag during their E3 presser on Sunday, they won’t actually be playable in the final game, the game’s director has revealed. Speaking to DualShockers, Turn 10 Studios’ Design Director John Knowles noted that while motorcycles are in the game, you can’t drive them, and they won’t be playable- which I know will crush at least some fans’ dreams.

“No, you can’t drive motorcycles, just to get that out of the way. It’s a showcase event. It’s a motocross stunt team you’re racing against just like you’ve raced against jets, planes, boats, and trains,” Knowles said. “We know some portion of our audience has wanted to see playable motorcycles. Maybe someday but not this game.”

Which is a bit of a bummer, I guess- but Playground Games have been very receptive to fan feedback, and their DLC tends to often get crazy and go beyond the scope of the original game. So who knows, maybe we will see motorbikes that we can drive in a future expansion for Forza Horizon 4. If not, then who knows, maybe we see them in a Forza Horizon 5 or something. All we know is, they won’t be playable in this game at launch- better luck next time, motorbike fans.

It look like a racing game I could enjoy, especially the offroad racing\exploring. But I will have to wait for a Steam sale, maybe summer 2019.

Hmm, so I can get to this Windows store through Win10?

Does this mean I got run a Windows app when running Horizon or I get a Steam key and install game through Steam?

No win10 store is separate from steam,if its on there it usually means its not coming to steam for a long time,if ever.

Seems a bit mismatched. British themed, but loads of super cars and muscle cars, yet missing European classic like Triumph,Rover etc

Actually, I sent Purple  the link referring to the photo of racing down the rails with the Flying Scotsman right behind. In the snow.  8)

The game includes free roam, winter snow, track/route creation, and "jumps, jumps everywhere".

I thought he might be interested.

They usually make a free demo version.

I've tried the regular Forzas and a Forza Horizon. The Forza Horizon games are more arcade than the regular Forza games  in handling and other things. Regular Forza 6 was  better than expected but I wish it was just a little less arcade.

I think the handling changes a fair amount with each new game.

A lot of their cars are usually DLC. They also add new DLC cars each month.
