How about better color for web links in posts?

I ask this because, the gray color I see for url links in forum post is hard to notice. Links don't stand out. Orange be a better color and would go with forum theme colors.

Or am I the only one that see gray web links? Like this one - Flatout Joint

Testing whether unvisited links look any different:
Test link
Real link

Auto-parsed links:
http://anotherfakeurl.net
http://nextcargame.com

I definitely agree with you either way though.

Edit: seems all links look the same. It's not impossible to see but it does annoy sometimes.

Underlining hyperlinks will work better. Solves colors problem entirely

Meh, the internet is generally sick of underlined links and colors have become the new standard.

That's not the best way to solve the problem. Some people are color blind, you know. Of course, you can use color differentiation, but in this case you should use some additional highlighting (bold, italic, or, as I said, underlining)

+1. Red or something should be good.

Grey links with black text, not the best setup.

How about maybe Orange link text to accent the color layout?

"Blue" is standard and should look good here.

I used the color option for text:

]url=http://flatoutjoint.com]]color=orange]Flatout Joint

Code looks like HTML, no?

Edit: hmm, it's not. What is it then? Not familiar with much else..

My code was in CSS for the screenshot.

Code: [Select]
a.bbc_link {
    color: #0099CC;
}

I wasn't talking about that.
I mean the site. I thought the [ img ] tag looked like <img>
