Im sad to see none of these tracks have been added. I mean The 8 and dogbone tracks were a complete blast!!

The 8 tracks currently in the game arent very well designed if you ask me...

I miss these days below...

Thanks for the commercial ;)

Currently next track will be a desert themed track, but after that I plan on doing an figure of 8 track of some sorts (it's not exactly a perfect 8-number, but it has a mid-track crossing).

Also you have the, uhm, what was the name again, Swaffham track that the banger people use. That has an figure of 8 configuration aswell.

I agree that most of the tracks in the game is pretty, well, racing-themed, but for everything else we got the modding community. And we are up for suggestions, ideas and inputs - just as long as you accept it's not of same quality of what a game developer / designer makes (I have no art experience what so ever, and have never taken a course in modeling) :)

I'm working on a 3 pack of suicide tracks for Sandpit 1. I got one done and working on my second one:

I'm going call my first Suicide Sandpit 1 track done for now. There a download link below. I'm not going up load to Steam workshop until I have my 3 tracks ready to go.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/4g8w4jm4ie9p4b4/Suicide+Pack+test.7z

Unpack Suicide Sandpit 1 test.7z, put Suicide Sandpit 1 test folder under your \mods folder, enable Suicide Sandpit 1 test in your Mods tab, scroll Select Event umtil you see Suicide Sandpit 1 test.

Flatout Joint, where the mods were.

i5 2500, 8GB, Nvidia 660 960, SB Recon, Win 10 or Win7 64bit, DFGT Wheel

We have tried many of the packs including the one above. Most of the tracks in these are very generic compared to the developers tracks.

Only the Dev's could re-create them perfectly. I think the DD2 pack was the worst...

Nothing against the creators, I have created stuff myself as well, but every person we play with did not enjoy 90% of the community tracks.

Another thing is everyone has to have the same exact files. No pubs will ever be able to join your server.

:( Sad to hear that, there's tracks in that pack I'd love to race others on but not too many people play these days less still that load up mods for online play

It is unfortunate that you're right at least in that few people want to try out community made tracks for online. I think that there's quite a few fun tracks made, even if accepting not all, but I never get to play them online.. I dunno. It's unfortunate.

Thank you Daystar, glad you like the Speedbowl track.

Started on the Tri Loop, got the track layout done, but I'm having problems with ai routes and startpoints.
Keep getting errors compiling from bgo to scne.
Been sniffing through the threads to find that list with errors, but I cant find it.

I anyone knows which thread the error list is in, please point me in the direction, thanks.

What kind of error you get? There are so many of them it's better to ask and see if anyone else has encountered them ;D

Got this one:

src\bcore\ErrorCallbacks.cpp(18) ERROR : Assert failed! src\btoolcore\CreateAiData.cpp(283): "startZ <= 0.f" 97.763458

Redone the AI routes several times, including the startpoints.

Keep getting same error, though the numbers at the end have chanced a couple of times.

Was thinking this a startpoint error.
Have checked the ai routes for overlapping etc., couldn't find any.

Ah, I know that one, a bastard error indeed. It means the first sector is 97 units off at either x or y coordinates. Try selecting everything and move it -98 units. Test to see if it is the x or y coordinates. This bug is really stupid but work around above should work :)

Thanks mate.

Just realized the game doesn't like 1st ai sector to be on the + side on the X axis, so I rotated the whole scene 180°,
et voila, compiled like a charm.

Cheers
