Be sure to override in router that your PC is connecting with it always in the same IP. It's called Static IP.Without it, after opening ports, and restarting router...PC can join with another IP (with closed ports).Here's simple way to do that in Windowshttp://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm

If you use port triggering then yes - however whether or not triggering works with Wreckfest depends if the game actually requests to open the port.A better solution for WF might be if BB implement uPNP.

Would rather manually open and close a port when need be.
