Have this error every time I try and start a normal (non timed event) race.

Does your PC have enough power for this game?

Yep, it runs Unbounded fine.

Amd 4100 cpu
Amd HD 6850
8GB Ram
X-Fi Music soundcard
Win 7 x64

I find it odd I can do timed races but as soon as it tries to get online I get the error I posted.

I believe it's game's fault. Got similar error few times when changed options in 'BeamNG Drive tech demo'.

I've deleted the game now anyway, I thought we would get to race against other people, but turns out you can't.  Might as well stick with Unbounded.

So I saw the game got an update? Tried playing again, same problem with the C++ error.

Shame, I like the sound of the game after reading a bit more!

Hi,

Your windows is up to date? Also .NET framework updates? How about your drivers?
Sometimes firewall and windows defender may cause problems, also.

That's really a shame. Have you tried reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package?

Quick update.

Since today's patch I can get a bit further, I can view the leader boards without the game crashing and timed races still work.  I also get to select a car before the start of a race now where as I couldn't before, but when it communicates with the server I get the same crash I always did (see first post)

Things I've tried :
Updated drivers + Windows
Run Compatibility Mode with various settings
Unplugged my pads
Ran in a window
Scanned/verified game files
Scanned Windows files
Run as admin

Thanks for the report, it's very important to us so that we can continue looking into the issue. We have experienced the same crash only a few times ourselves, unfortunately without a debugger running, and as far as we know you're the only one who can reproduce the issue consistently.

Our apologies for the issues, hopefully they'll be sorted out soon.

Thanks for the reply!

I've uploaded my DXDIAG to pastebin, I don't know if that will help in anyway.

Let me know if there is something I can do or try my end to help.
