Still more textures to make but made more progress with the go kart. First time using substance painter for texturing rather than doing it all manually with photoshop

Looks great!

Keep up the good work Sam!   :D :D

Sam, is this better? The shoulders have new transition, as well as blending between the transition and the actual outside texture as well. The decals have been lightened up and have a transition going on into the three corners.

Looks better and makes more sense i think tor.  Can you get a couple of screens of the whole thing?

Thanks, and sure thing! 8 pictures to show the whole track (with focus on the track, not scenery):

So this is what I have going on with my custom Road Slayer in blender so far.  Still a very beginning part of WIP but its looking pretty slick.

Still a ton of work to do though before I could actually consider getting it in game. My reasoning behind starting with the example Road Slayer for my first one is its one of my favorites in game but there were some sections I thought could use some improvement.

*Edit: This image will update as I produce new Renders

Nice stuff! Will it have custom wheels as well (as shown in the render)?

Thanks!

It will have the custom wheels as long as the game allows for that.

Should be possible as long as you name them right. A lot of details and trial and error to get cars working in game, so just fire away questions here if stuck.

Tires options can be added the same as anything else using the #part tag

Plotting along on one of my first tracks I made, trying to give it a more up to date look. Keynotes for this track: Fast and twisty.

Here is the other car I'm wanting to get in the game. Still has a lot to do but it's coming together nicely.  This one basically has the body acting as a shell like a typical race car.

Looks nice. Seems to fit perfectly on a fast track!
Edit: slap on the DD2 skins on that thing and it would be quite something!

Meanwhile; More work done on the track:

When one race car isn't enough, just copy them  :D

Also kind of working on a new garage scene which is partially started here. :P

BugBear should seriously consider this beauty to officially be added to the game. Obviously the branding would need to be changed

Worked on this yesterday.
