Author Topic: Creating a custom car  (Read 530 times)

OK, so I finally finished Flatout 2 and I decided to install some mods. However, I would also like to create a few cars using the ALREADY EXISTING MODELS (the Chili Pepper for example) and give them new stats, but I haven't been able to find any tutorial or whatsoever.
Would you tell me how to make custom cars with the original models from the game? Thanks

Hi, I would say go to Flatout Joint where a lot of modding for Flatout 1 and 2 got done. But unfortunely FOJ doors are close now.  You can still take a peek at Flatout Joint by using this site:

http://wayback.archive.org/web/20060101000000*/http://www.flatoutjoint.com  ( need to copy all the text and paste into a browser tab to get link to work )

One of the key Flatout  modders, Heddly, does hangout here at Bugbear forum, but he under the weather right now. Might be a few days before he stop buy.

Here a thread where Heddly talk about the Road King:

Does anyone got the Roadking model?

Here a thread with some videos of the custom cars that got done for Flatout 2:

A walk down memory lane for the custom cars done for FO2.

Have you been Moddb to see the community mods that we did for Flatout 1 and 2?
