Looks like some sort of collision detection issue near the top of the rear of the cannon.  While it's pretty funny when it happens I was still scoring points the entire time.  Also the car has damage from the previous session at the beginning of this session after doing a reset.  Not sure if that's intended or not.

It indeed looks like a problem with collision detection, it simply doesn't have enough frames to work in such a violent collision.
