I just came across this on my facebook page I had not check for a year maybe.

KartKraft is headed to Steam Early Access Thursday, Nov 1.

I had thought development on KartKraft had stop. Guess not. Guys give the facebook post a read:

I won't jump the first day, will see what players say and how Devs respond.

KartKraft - how will we be able to get local tracks in the sim ? Do you exclusively develop or will it be open for fans to develop tracks into the sim ? Also. Will BTB built tracks work ? Thanks

KartKraft Hi Paul - All official tracks released are laser-scanned and built in house. With that said, we do plan on adding modding support in the future.

Here a new video that got release:

Here a simer giving a review of the early access of KartKraft that went live on Steam this month:

Great game. But please beware, this is just a demo right now. Three tracks and some karts. Nothing else. No Multiplayer, no AI, no advanced physics (tyre wear, kart settings).

First i thought that it is way too expansive but the reviews made me curious. After driving a few rounds with my G27 i got addicted. Really really fun to get a good time on the track.

And yes, right now it is expensive because it is just a demo but in contrast to driving a real kart you save a lot of money ;) So give it a try!

The game is looking good and will I might wait a little longer for more content, not sure yet.

Has anyone noticed the drive chain between the engine and sprocket is not working properly in the video? Full screen on YouTube is best to view. Is this really happening in game or is it a replay bug? I am close to a purchase and hope this game progresses faster than the past. Looking like a buy with the recent update activity after being dormant for a long time.
