HIGHLIGHTS
  • New tournament: Rally Trophy
  • New free Rally Trophy track
  • New tournament reward bundles
We're thrilled to announce the availability of a new tournament, and it's something very special!

It's been 20 years since the historic rally simulation Rally Trophy developed by us was unleashed to the rallying masses, and we thought it would be a perfect way to commemorate the 20th anniversary to bring the game back! Well, obviously not completely but as a special tournament event in Wreckfest.

To challenge the would-be rally drivers is a long special stage winding through countryside fields and woodlands, and with times clocking in at around 6 minutes the route is not only epic in length but also a unique experience for Wreckfest. What's best is that the track is also accessible outside the tournament so you can experience it also in multiplayer!

And since you of course need a car to match, we've prepared a special Boomer RS part bundle inspired by the iconic Rally Trophy car so you can be properly kitted out to tackle the challenge. In addition to the Rally Trophy bundle, a wicked new time attack styled Gremlin bundle is another newcomer in the shop so make sure to check them both out!

I'm loving the handling of the vehicle chosen for the rally track. It feels very natural and responsive. Playing on the Xbox series X, and even when there's added racers, it still holds well. Thank you for a well deserved Rally section. Only 1 gripe,... No new vehicle to purchase in the Tournament, just skins. Would have loved a Subaru looking hatchback or an 80s Scrocco. 1988 Nissan 200sx w V6 turbo AWD... LOL I'm allowed to dream... ❤

Every time there is an update the game goes to pieces with lag. please next time sort this crap before worrying about a poxy season. We don't want that,we want to be able to put numbers and names on our cars, plus more cars to smash up. Come on get with it.

The Rally Trophy track once again highlights the fact that Wreckfest has a rock solid physics engine and an unrivaled blend of realism and accessibility. However, it has come to my attention that the META for this track is to turn stability control all the way up regardless of individual skill level. In fact, everyone regardless of skill, car or track uses stability control to some extent while nobody uses traction control because it is considered useless. Ideally, highly skilled players should be able to benefit from turning assists down while beginners should be able to benefit from turning assists up. The same goes for car balance but I won't elaborate further because it's been done over and over to no avail.

Finally, a long track, the Gremlin customization that I and many other players asked for, and no special vehicles and annoying eights. Holy event. If, in addition to the dirt road, they added the same length and asphalt road, then all my wishes about the tracks would come true.

Any realistic themed track from the VTP would be welcome slightly polished as a base track in the game (if the original author agrees) ! Not much work for the team but always a pleasure for the community !

Also here are some cars that didn't got any upgrade or special version, so I hope for the next tournament rewards :
- Dominator
- El Matador
- Gatecrasher
- Nexus
- Speedemon (ok you can consider the double decker as a special version...)
- Sunrise Super
- Tristar
- Warwagon (ok there's the Limo...)

But there's still enough for 6 more months of cool tournament updates !
And it would also be nice to have some kind of Flatout tribute even if it can't be named like that. With jumps trough barns and stuff like that...

There's Tournament bundles for Nexus RX, Speedemon and Sunrise Super but I guess you mean serious performance upgrades. Anyway, I don't want to be fussy since I strongly agree with everything you said.
- Laankebanen, Gardermoen, Rugsland, Lyngaas and Grendland from TVTP/TVTP2 are damn near perfect
- Gatecrasher version with NASCAR-style wheels, slightly wider track, plated headlight cutouts, lighter and better handling
- El Matador crazy backyard engineering version with bed-mounted engine
- Tristar GT-R widebody version with better handling
- Rammer RS two-door version, lighter and better handling

I would rather see a NASCAR style version of the El Matador, and a crazy engineered Warwagon with rear mounted engine...

Also Palmer Motorsports and Howling Wolfs are two other nice tracks from TVTP.
And putting proper graphics on Eagle Nest would be cool too...
